Bali Night show was arranged by SIS (Indonesians-Swedish Friendship Organisation) and Banjar Bali (The Balinese community association) in Sweden and supported by Indonesian Ambassy and Täby municipality. Bali Night showed us the parade of Balinese everydays garment worn by the working people, “Tari Cendrawasih” dance and “Genjek” with Joged. The meaning of Galungan, Kuningan and Nyepi was explained by Margaretha Surjadi.

The show took place in Täby Central Library. Many people came to see Bali Night and they admired and enjoyed the show.

Bali Night was opened by SIS´s chairman Mr Ulf Schuberth. Indonesians Ambassador Ibu Linggawaty Hakim gave us a supported speech. She said that this evenings show is only promotion and next time we can introduce more Indonesians culture and people traditions to Swedish people.

Bali Night show was successful and gave us everlasting impression.
